During the press conference, the CEO of TV9, En. Bukhari Che Muda introduced the new shows for the Ramadhan month. Some of the shows he introduced was Tanyalah Ustaz, Ustaz Zamri Bercerita, Sutun, Semanis Kurma, Kembara Ramadan, Kalimah and of course our own Upin & Ipin: Setahun Kemudian.
To my pleasant surprise however, En. Bukhari himself was excited about the new season of Upin & Ipin. He told the press on how our animation managed to get a high rating last year, and he himself was happy with what he saw in the newest episode.
We also had a surprise for everyone in the conference. After he finished his talk, came the time to officiate all the new series for the Ramadhan season. Rather than cutting a ribbon as most ceremonies do, TV9 instead came up with the idea to use a TV remote instead, switching on a TV with previews of all the Ramadhan series.
And who else better to present him with the remote other than....
...Upin and Ipin themselves! We also had a little sketch on the stage which was very well received by the audience.
We were shown all the previews and Upin & Ipin's preview was a success. Everyone was all smiles and were laughing at the scenes they screened. Overall, we had such a positive response from the audience on the Upin & Ipin preview and can't wait for you, our fans reaction. :)
