3D Modeling Short Course Student's Work - First Batch


Les' Copaque Animation Training Centre (LCATC) has organised a 3 weeks course on Maya 3D Modeling starting from 18 August until 5 September 2008. The course is fully funded by Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) under the K-Worker Development Initiatives.18 students from different backgrounds have applied and 17 have completed the course.

These are the syllabus that they learn during the whole 3 weeks course.

First Week : Non-Organic Modeling
Students are required to model simple props and finally model a set of children's playground.

Second Week : Organic Modeling
Students learn to model a simple 3d character in just 2-3 days.

Third Week : Character Pitching
Students are required to propose a 3D character for their final project.

Overall, most of the students have done well for the course and we would like to wish them all the best in their future undertakings. Upon finishing the course, we have also identified some students to fill some job openings available in Les' Copaque Production.

Finally we would like to annouce that the second batch of 3D Modeling Short course is now ready for admission.20 more applicants is needed to start the course. The course will begin after the Hari Raya holidays.(Final date will be announced later on.)
