Les' Copaque in China (Yong Pin's Story)

Okay, it's story in China again. We are a little bit proud with this China stuff, so please do let us post more info regarding our trip to China, ok? Previously, Mumu has brief about our "happenings" in China for the past few days. He has actually already covered most of the parts (which make us don't know what else to post). However, I would like to show more info or photo of Zhong Nan Animation Studio. Hope that you guys enjoy reading it.

As you've seen earlier, they have a terribly big building as their office. However, the animation process is basically done in 2 main floor (which is floor number 10 and 11, if I'm not mistaken). Just assumed that I'm not mistaken, the 10th floor is where they design, research and exhibit all their merchandise. You won't believe how many products they have created! Let photo do the talking.

Sorry, Zaid is not available for sale.

Nice figures, right? Wouldn't it be nice if Upin Ipin got figures like these too?

Kasut kasut kasut!! Tiga Sepuluh Tiga Sepuluh!!

Okay, enough for merchandise, let's have a look at their true animation studio! Woohoo!! According to them, they have more than 50 animators working in this particular studio. They actually has another bigger branch at Beijing. Their speed of animating is around 2-3 seconds per day per animator. Other than that, they have around 20 render artists (p/s, we have only 3 here .. -__-) They use Maya Software to render their animation, which takes about 20minutes to render one frame in HD. The following are some of the photos we shot in their studio.

After that we have a discussion with their team. We talked regarding their weakness and how to improve. We basically commented that their animation are not consistent enough and lacking in some basic fundamental. They are kind of aware of their weakness, and currently developing something to work on it, which is a very nice move. So, all the best to them!!

hehe, muka masam when we commented on their work. >.<

I think that's all for this entry, I'll update more on China lifestyle or our shopping night (maybe) after this!~
