Quite a lot of people has been asking about the people who voiced the main characters in Geng. So I was thinking that instead of just giving a list, I'd feature each voice actor every few days, talking about them a little. Especially since they've been doing such a good job on the acting despite doing it for their first time.
So the first voice actor is...
Izwan
This is Izwan, voicing the character Badrol. When he first saw our sneak peek and knew about our film in the making, he immediately volunteered to voice one of the characters. Izwan is a lot like Badrol, casual and laid back. Despite being involved in a big project, he's still studying in Form 4 but is well committed to come over to our office after school to do his lines (every now and then lah, we don't bother him with his studies. We make sure we don't distract our actors from school). Izwan dreams of becoming an actor someday. Well I guess since he's in our movie, he can be considered an actor already don't you think?
Here's the character description of Badrol if you guys haven't read it in the Geng website.
"Best friends with Lim and is the more casual one of the two, preferring to take things easy and acting on impulse. Badrol tries to act macho and brave most of the time. When he was young he stayed with his grand father in the kampong before his parents moved to the big city. However being in the city too long, he has forgotten most of the kampong life. Due to an unknown traumatic experience in the past, Badrol is secretly scared of frogs and toads."
