Mid-Autumn Festival

Woohoooo Happy Mid- Autumn Festival, err i hope i got that one right. The girls in our office brought over some lanterns, and after having buka puasa with the rest of us, we went out together to light some lanterns just outside our office. After a few burnt atempts, us non-lantern-skilled people finally managed to light our own lanterns. Woopeee twas the first time for most of us. Dissapointed that we couldn't whack each other with the lanterns til we all burnt to death, we followed with the girls' wishes by walkign around the dark areas outside, enjoying a joly good time, chatting and goofing around, under the beautiful jerebu-filled moonless sky. Ah yes twas fun. I asked Yong Pin about the history of the celebration but he says he doesn't know much about it and only told a bit of the story. SHAME ON YOU YONG PIN!

After most of our lanterns got burnt (some unintentionally while some, well you can guess what happens when naughty big boys have chopsticks to poke lanterns with), we went straight up and did some good ol anti-social gaming. Ahaha naw just kidding, we had a great time and can't wait for next year. Check out the piccies, we tried our best to capture eveyone's sweat-filled-pictures under the dark environment.

Anyway, Les' Copaque wishes everyone a much belated Mid-Autumn Festival (dah habis kan?).

ps- if some of you guys haven't a clue what Mid-Autumn Festival is, wiki it or ask your nearest Chinese friend. Aint got a Chinese friend? Sheesh Get a life! Oh by the way some people refer to it as the Lantern Festival

pss- Noob Adi tak join.
