On the 15th of November, Upin & Ipin and Les Copaque's merchandising arm - World of Geng - graced the Annual Graduation Day of Tadika Arif Minda. It was a warm and happy occasion for 70 kindergarten students who graduated that day.
The crew arrived early to set up our booth outside the main hall. Besides the wonderful merchandises for sale we also showed Upin & Ipin episodes, Geng's trailer and the new anti-piracy PSA (Public Service Announcement) on an LCD monitor. Many children and parents were glued to the screen.
In the main hall there were performances by the students at the kindergarten. They entertained their parents with songs and dance. The main event of the day was of course the graduation ceremony, and thats where Upin & Ipin came in. The twins led the graduation procession into the hall and went up on stage. They then went backstage to let the graduation ceremony take place. When the ceremony was over, Upin & Ipin rejoined the kids for a joyous round of singing and dancing. As soon as they reentered the stage, they were mobbed like rock stars! All the children eagerly huddled around each one of them and wanted to shake their hands. Upin later told me that some of the kids didn't believe it was really him and that there was someone inside him! However Upin just kept on dancing merrily with them.

After the graduation show was officially over, Upin & Ipin went to visit the World of Geng booth and along the way mingled and took photos with the attendees. They were really overjoyed and excited to see the twins in person.
In conclusion, everyone had a marvelous and wonderful day out, especially Upin & Ipin. They got to meet and entertain their fans and the fans got to meet them. Parents were also excited to buy Upin & Ipin merchandise for their children and the kids were happy to own the delightful products.
